Quito cathedral unveils nativity scene with 1,500 figures
The Archdiocese of Quito has unveiled a Christmas nativity scene spanning more than 280 square meters (3,000 square feet) at the cathedral in Ecuador's capital, featuring 1,500 figures, including 500 animated ones. The display depicts the birth of Jesus Christ and other biblical scenes, with the archdiocese expecting thousands of parishioners and tourists to visit during the Christmas season.
