RoK launches programme to help startups expand into Vietnam
VOV.VN - The Republic of Korean (RoK) startup company CNT Tech announced on June 23 that it has begun recruiting participants for its “Bridge to Vietnam” programme, an initiative designed to help Korean startups expand into overseas markets.
The project is being implemented under the early-stage startup support programme 2026, jointly overseen by the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).
Bridge to Vietnam is aimed at startups seeking international growth opportunities. By entering Vietnam, one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic emerging markets, participating companies will have the opportunity to validate their business models, assess market potential, and connect with local investors and business partners to build a foundation for sustainable growth.
Selected companies will receive training and consulting services on product and service localisation before entering the Vietnamese market. The programme will also facilitate networking opportunities with investors, customers and potential business partners.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend business-matching events, exhibitions and market surveys designed to help them develop effective market-entry strategies.
A representative of CNT Tech said the initiative is expected to provide practical opportunities for Korean startups to expand their international presence. The company also expressed hope that startups with innovative technologies and business ideas would actively participate in the programme to explore growth opportunities in Vietnam.
VOV.VN - The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Saigon Asset Management (SAM), and Plug and Play Tech Centre co-hosted the “From Vietnam to Silicon Valley” forum, exploring AI innovation, venture capital, and pathways to integrate Vietnam’s startup ecosystem with Silicon Valley and global markets.
