Trump and Infantino hand World Cup trophy to Spain
US President Donald Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino handed the 2026 World Cup trophy to Spain captain Rodri after the team defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final.
The video shows the trophy presentation at the New York/New Jersey Stadium, with Spanish players taking their places on stage, medals being awarded and the famous trophy lifted under a shower of confetti.
Spain secured their second World Cup title after Ferran Torres scored the decisive goal in extra time, ending Argentina's reign as world champions.
The closing ceremony followed a tense final watched by around 80,000 spectators near New York.
As Trump and Infantino entered the pitch, they were met with boos from parts of the crowd.
