Trump vows to create ‘AI Force’ and appoint AI czar
WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Donald Trump said he will address issues surrounding artificial intelligence by creating an “AI Force,” similar to how he formed Space Force.
Trump also plans to name an AI czar.
The president’s post on Truth Social Saturday comes days after a former AI researcher warned artificial intelligence could wipe out the human race.
Some heads of the most influential AI companies have called for more government regulation as AI continues to develop rapidly.
Trump dismisses those concerns. He said fears over AI are a hoax, and he will not stifle growth in the industry.
