The necessary ecosystem is being developed rapidly across the state.”Crediting coordination between the central govt under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s administration, Prasada said the “double-engine government’s” policy implementation had accelerated the state’s industrial transformation.Prasada said the state was expanding technology investments beyond Noida to spread economic benefits and employment opportunities across other regions.Citing major anchor investments by global players like Samsung and Yotta, alongside new data centres and AI labs, he outlined a roadmap to build an end-to-end value chain spanning chip design, semiconductor component fabrication, electronics manufacturing and global exports.“India will no longer remain a country that merely assembles products. Through initiatives such as the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme, the country is moving towards component manufacturing. Uttar Pradesh can play an important role in this transformation,” he said, adding that domestic design talent must be matched by large-scale manufacturing in India.Prasada also urged private companies to build long-term industrial viability rather than rely indefinitely on state support.“Government incentives and subsidies are instruments to accelerate growth, but the long-term success of industries will depend on their own competitive capabilities.
