Here's a list of what you need to know about what's closed this Labour Day Monday in Niagara:

This civic holiday and upcoming Sundays, Niagara commuters can soon expect added services.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 6, Niagara Transit will add services on regional bus routes, including route 751 in Fort Erie, and Niagara Transit Plus Services on Sundays and holidays.

The public transit network shared its new bus and ride-share holiday service hours, including Labour Day.

Grocery store opening hours vary between Niagara municipalities. While some supermarket chains like Sobeys and Walmart in St. Catharines, Ont., listed the upcoming Monday as closed, other locations in Niagara Falls, Ont., and Fort Erie, Ont., say they will remain open.

LCBO locations across Niagara will be closed on Labour Day in accordance with Ontario’s Retail Business Holidays Act.

City and town halls in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, and Fort Erie will be closed on Monday.

Regional services, incl. waste, child care centres, health clinics

There will be no changes to curbside collection on Labour Day, according to Niagara Region. However, West Lincoln’s Niagara Road 12 Landfill and Drop-Off Depot will be closed.

Regional administrative offices, child care centres, public health and sexual health clinics and Provincial Offences court will also be closed.

Canada Post will not be delivering or collecting mail on Monday. UPS stores will also be closed across Canada for the holiday.
