Iconic Canadian artists will rock the stage at LeBreton Flats on July 1, as the nation's capital gears up for another Canada Day jam packed with celebrations.
The all-Canadian evening show will feature performers from across the country, including the Barenaked Ladies, Alessia Cara, Noeline Hofmann, Dominique Fils-Aimé and The Tragically Hip guitarist Paul Langlois starting at 8 p.m. ET, according to Canadian Heritage.
The show will be presented in English, French and American and Quebec sign language and will be followed by fireworks at 10 p.m. ET,
Details on the national noon show from 12 to 1:30 p.m. ET at the same park on downtown Ottawa's western edge are still to be announced, as is information on travel changes such as road closures.
Both shows will be broadcast live on CBC and on large screens on Parliament Hill and the Supreme Court lawn.
Elsewhere in the capital, there will be a changing of the guard ceremony, a military pipe and drum band and Snowbirds performance on (or over) Parliament Hill.
The Supreme Court lawn is being turned into a block party with yoga and improv and magic shows.
