Global IME launches 'Udyamshala' to support startups and SMEs
Global IME Bank has launched the Global IME Udyamshala Program, an entrepreneurship initiative aimed at supporting startups and strengthening Nepal's micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Announced on the occasion of World MSME Day, the programme invites aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners from across the country to apply for incubation and business acceleration support.
The initiative comprises two tracks-an incubation programme for individuals with innovative business ideas and an acceleration programme for entrepreneurs seeking to expand existing enterprises.
Participants will receive mentorship, business networking opportunities and training on areas including business registration, taxation, financial management, marketing and access to finance.
The programme was launched by the bank's Chief Executive Officer Surendra Raj Regmi, who said the initiative aims to address common challenges faced by small businesses through expert guidance and practical training.
