Mojave Desert venues are packed with live shows for the next two weeks
Mojave Desert venues and event spaces roll out a broad slate of live entertainment from late March through mid-April, with concerts, sports events and free community events spread across Southern California.
From Oro Grande to Temecula, the calendar ranges from Latin pop headliners and alternative rock favorites to boxing, tribute shows and local DJs spinning at Route 66 car shows.
Taken together, the two-week lineup highlights the depth and variety of entertainment in the Mojave Desert and beyond.
Wednesday, April 1: Sin Bandera at Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel
Latin pop concert: Latin Grammy Award-winning group Sin Bandera returns to the stage for a full night of their signature romantic balladry at Yaamava' Theater. The group's catalog of heart-wrenching hits like "A Pesar de Todo," "Que Llore" and "Que Me Alcance la Vida" has made them icons of Spanish-language pop, and their reunion shows have sold out venues across Latin America and the U.S.
This Wednesday night concert is the premier Latin event in the region— a must-see for fans of sophisticated, melodic pop en español.

Boxing/Sports event: Eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will be a special guest at the Taduran vs. Perez fight at Pechanga's Summit arena. The event brings the raw intensity of championship-level prizefighting to the heart of Temecula, where ringside tickets and close-in floor seating give fans a proximity to the action rarely found at a casino event.

Saturday, April 4: Community Art Walk at Richardson Park, Adelanto
Live music/ art demonstrations: Celebrate the creativity and connection of Adelanto at this year's first Community Art Walk at the Park. Stroll through art displays, live demonstrations and interactive installations. This event will also feature live music from Adelanto local Diana Holte, interactive Art Stations, live art demonstrations, spoken word and poetry throughout the day and local food trucks for a full day of Adelanto fun.

Saturday, April 11: Oro Grande Round-Up at Cross Eyed Cow Pizza
Community car show and live DJ: Saddle up, High Desert, the next car show is coming to town. The Oro Grande Round-Up community car show and event returns to Cross Eyed Cow Pizza with vendors, Western burlesque dancers, Cowboy gun shows and an all-day local DJ.
Route 66 comes alive when the community shows up.
