Network 10 Launches Streaming Channels On VIDAA In Australia
Network 10 has announced a strategic partnership with VIDAA, the global smart TV platform company, to bring a selection of its streaming linear channels to new VIDAA-powered Smart TVs from leading partners, including Hisense and Toshiba, across Australia.
With the launch of these channels, Australian viewers will be able to stream live content from 10, 10 Drama, 10 Comedy and Nickelodeon directly on VIDAA-powered TVs, without the need for a terrestrial aerial connection.
The integration delivers seamless access to trusted free-to-air broadcast brands through streaming technology, simplifying how audiences access live television.
Lachlan Roach, VP Partner Management & Business Development, Paramount Australia, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with VIDAA to integrate our 10 linear channels via IP into the VIDAA channels environment, giving audiences greater and easier access to live and scheduled broadcasts through their connected TV experience.
“This collaboration further cements our broader strategy to scale our linear distribution via IP across multiple platforms, delivering strong commercial outcomes and added value across our assets.”
Australia is one of the world’s most advanced connected TV markets, and VIDAA is the leading Smart TV platform in the country, powering millions of TVs in Australian homes.
The partnership ensures that Network 10’s live streaming channels are accessible at scale through a streamlined, content-first interface designed around ease of discovery and lean-back viewing.
“The way users in Australia watch live television is evolving rapidly,” said Guy Edri, CEO of V.
“By bringing Network 10’s streaming channels to VIDAA, we’re combining the strength of trusted broadcast brands with the simplicity of the connected TV experience. Our focus is always on quality content and effortless access, making it easier for viewers to find and enjoy what they love.”
The launch reflects the broader shift towards integrated TV experiences that blend live streaming channels with on-demand services within a unified Smart TV environment.
Rather than requiring additional hardware or setup, VIDAA enables viewers to move naturally between live programming and streaming apps, all within the same intuitive interface.
“As the leading platform in Australia, our responsibility is to ensure premium local content is both visible and easily accessible,” Edri added. “This partnership is another step in reinforcing VIDAA as the home of high-quality entertainment in the region.”
