Nykaa partners with L’Oréal’s BOLD to invest in Indian beauty startups, shares flat

Shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures were trading largely flat on Friday morning, with the stock up a marginal 0.06 per cent at ₹335.50 as of 11.06 AM, against a previous close of ₹335.30. The stock opened at ₹335.50, touched a high of ₹336.70 and a low of ₹331.60 in early trade. Buy orders accounted for 55.98 per cent of total order flow, marginally outpacing sell pressure at 44.02 per cent.

The company announced a collaboration between Nykaa and BOLD, Business Opportunities for L’Oréal Development, L’Oréal’s corporate venture capital fund, to co-invest in high-growth Indian beauty and personal care startups.

SBI Securities termed the development “positive in medium to long term” for FSN E-Commerce Ventures.

The stock has significantly outperformed its benchmark. NYKAA has returned 41.88 per cent over the past year and 26.25 per cent year-to-date, compared to the Nifty Midcap 50’s 7.77 per cent and 0.70 per cent respectively over the same periods. The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹349.55, hit on August 31, 2026, while its 52-week low of ₹227.90 was recorded in September 2025. Total market capitalisation stands at approximately ₹96,097 crore. The symbol P/E of 370.48 reflects elevated valuations, consistent with the exchange’s indicator flagging the scrip PE exceeding 50 across the previous four trailing quarters.

Under the collaboration announced Thursday, BOLD and Nykaa will take minority stakes in emerging Indian beauty and wellness brands, with founders retaining operational and creative control. The partnership combines L’Oréal’s global expertise with Nykaa’s domestic omnichannel retail network, targeting the next generation of Indian beauty founders.
