CDP Venture Capital, Scientifica debut EUR 27.5 mln SophIA hub
Italy's national innovation fund CDP Venture Capital has joined forces with Scientifica Venture Capital to launch SophIA, a new hub aimed at nurturing deeptech startups and turning scientific research into viable businesses. Backed by an initial EUR 27.5 million from CDP Venture Capital's Technology Transfer and Artificial Intelligence Fund, the initiative plans to support more than 20 ventures at proof-of-concept, pre-seed and seed stages over the next three years.
