Team8 closes $365M for third fund to back AI-native enterprise startups
Team8 has secured $365 million in new capital to invest in early-stage AI-native enterprise startups, the firm announced.
The raise includes $265 million for Team8 Capital's third core fund and more than $100 million earmarked for follow-on investments into its highest-conviction existing portfolio companies.
Fund III will target seed and Series A founders building AI-native products across cybersecurity, software infrastructure, fintech and digital health, according to the firm.
The close brings Team8's total assets under management to nearly $2 billion across eight funds launched since 2014.
The new vehicle is led by managing partners Sarit Firon and Liran Grinberg, alongside partners Ori Barzilay and Hadar Siterman Norris.
Team8 said the fund recorded its first exit before final close, following Palo Alto Networks' reported acquisition of portfolio company Koi Security in February.
The firm is positioning the fund around what it describes as a widening gap between the pace of AI model releases from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic and enterprises' ability to safely absorb and govern these technologies.
Team8 expects increased demand for infrastructure, security, governance and risk tooling as organizations deploy AI agents and overhaul workflows, often before controls and visibility fully catch up.
