Man critically injured after reported assault in the Glebe
An adult man was critically injured following a reported assault in the Glebe on Saturday evening, according to officials.
A spokesperson for the Ottawa Police Service told CBC News that officers responded to reports of an assault at the intersection of Bank Street and Glebe Avenue just after 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Paramedics treated the man on the scene and transported him to hospital in critical condition, according to a spokesperson for the Ottawa Paramedic Service.
Police told CBC the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, adding that the assault was unrelated to any Panda Game celebrations.
