Man dead after crash in Brampton: Peel police

Paramedics transported 3 patients with non-life-threatening injuries to hospital

A man has died after a crash in Brampton early Sunday morning, Peel police said.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash around 1:10 a.m. near The Gore Road and Castle Oaks Crossing, Peel police said in a post on social media platform X.

Evidence currently indicates that an SUV and minivan were travelling south on The Gore Road and that the SUV "made contact" with the other vehicle at the intersection, said Const. Tyler Bell-Morena in an emailed statement.

He said the SUV lost control and rolled over, resulting in the male driver in his 20s to be ejected from the vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Bell-Morena.

York and Peel paramedics both responded to the crash and transported three patients with non-life-threatening injuries to local hospital.

Residents are urged to avoid road closures on The Gore Road between Gardenbrooke Trail and Castle Oaks Crossing, police said.
